It’s that time again. Get out your crepe paper streamers, your red-white-and-blue tees, your partiotic decorations. And then plan to attend the Logan Ute Lake Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade.
Following tradition, we’ll start the parade at 10:00 a.m. on 2nd street behind the Budget Inn in Logan. You’re welcome to enter in any category, and this year we’ll have a couple of new categories: The Pet Parade, where the most-creatively dressed pet and owner will win the trophy, and the Boat Category, where the best decorated boat will also win a trophy.
Plan to arrive at the starting point no later then 9:15 a.m. Or if you’re not interested in entering, plan to stake out the best viewing spot on 2nd or 3rd street along the parade route.
Applications are available at Courtney’s Cove at 103 s. Hwy 54, from Leslie at the First National Bank of New Mexico, and from Ute Lake Premier Properties.
